Adv. Doron Dotan is a partner in the Commercial Department and specializes in corporate law, venture capital and international trade. During over two decades, Doron accumulated considerable experience in providing legal consultations on investments and merger & acquisition transactions, to both private and public companies operating in the fields of industry, commerce, hi-tech, real estate, retail, medical services and more.

Doron has major experience in establishing and supporting local and international ventures, from the founders’ agreement stage, through incorporation and commencement of the business operations, and up to providing ongoing legal advice. Doron counsels private and public companies and has a vast experience in commercial projects and transactions, such as projects in the energy sector, marketing and distribution agreements, franchising, licensing and software development agreements, establishing Joint Ventures, employment and service agreements in a variety of fields.

Over his years of practice, Doron has gained considerable experience working with Israeli companies as well as multinational companies operating in Israel in the field of marketing and direct sales and even participated in various legislative initiatives in this field.  While doing so, Doron was invited to serve on various entities of the Chambers of Commerce Association, handling matters of commerce and Consumer Protection Law.

In addition, Doron is a partner in the firm’s Hospitality Department, within the framework of which he provides ongoing legal accompaniment in the hospitality field in Israel both to boutique hotels and to hotel chains.

Doron served for a number of years as the general counsel and member of the management of a global American company in the dietary supplements field.  In 2006 he joined the Granot & Co. law firm, where he served as a partner in the Commercial Department until 2020.  Starting in 2020, Doron has been a partner in our firm’s Commercial Department as a result of the merger with Granot & Co.

Doron received his LL.B., as well as a bachelor’s degree in business administration, from the Interdisciplinary Center in Herzliya.

Doron was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1999.
