Adv. Shai Granot is a senior partner, and the head of the firm’s Insolvency and Banking Department.  Shai Granot is a well-known expert in the insolvency field. As one of the leading lawyers in this field, he represents most of the Israeli banks.

Adv. Granot has practiced insolvency law for years and has been appointed by the District Courts as a receiver on behalf of the leading Israeli banks for companies of various and sundry disciplines, some of them having been the biggest in the economy until their financial collapse.  Within the framework of these positions, he specialized in speedily taking control over the company and its assets and bringing them to an optimal condition for sale to third parties whether by sale as a going concern or by an efficient and proper liquidation of their assets, while maximizing profits for the creditors.  In recent years, due to his experience over the years in administering companies in difficulties as an officer of the court, and rehabilitating them for the purpose of their sale, Adv. Granot served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of several large companies, both in the fields of real estate holdings and in the hospitality field, and takes part in their restructuring and the improvement of their financial condition.

Shai represents clients in a variety of matters, , in the fields of commercial litigation and hospitality, locally and internationally, and has a unique expertise in subjects connected with the Israel Lands Authority.

In addition, Shai specializes in family wealth, and counsels certain groups and families having international activities. As such, Shai serves as personal legal counsel to a number of central figures in the European Jewish community.

In 1991 Shai established the law firm of Granot & Co., which he continued to head until it merged with the firm in 2020.

Adv. Granot was admitted to the Israeli Bar in 1988, after graduating from Bar Ilan University (LL.B).
